Our Story

Catalina Design Studio was founded by Elizabeth Liming, a former interior designer and life long sewer. Elizabeth devoted much of her interior design career to designing kitchens and bathrooms in New Mexico and Arizona, as well as . After moving from Arizona in 2023, she spent some time traveling through the US and Europe visiting museums, exploring historic sites and landscapes for inspiration. Now settled in beautiful San Diego, she is excited to have a space to showcase her beautiful sewn items inspired by her journeys and made right here in here studio/workshop at Liberty Station.
