Our Story

Catalina Design Studio was founded by Elizabeth Liming. Having previously worked as an interior designer, Elizabeth devoted much of her career to designing kitchens and bathrooms in New Mexico and Arizona. After departing from the industry in 2023, she spent six months traveling through the US and Europe visiting museums, exploring historic sites and landscapes for inspiration. Now settled in beautiful San Diego, she is excited to have a space to showcase her handmade ceramics and sewn items inspired by her journeys.
